IMVU XBar was designed so that all the user would have to do was look up what they want and click. Most of the buttons, menus, and menu-items work like that--select, click, and you are there. However, there are a few buttons and menu-itmes that require special attention.

Buttons & Menu-Items That Require You to Be on a Specific Page
First, let's look at the most obvious buttons: the Peer Review Submit and Skip buttons. These two buttons are directly on the tool bar towards the right end, encased with two vertical toolbar-separators. Thes two buttons may only be used when you are on IMVU's Peer Review page. If you attempt to use them anywhere else, you will either find that they do not work or that they do something else (this may only occur if the page you are on has a smiliar configuration to IMVU's Peer Review page).

The other set of menu-items that require you to be on a specific page are: View Derivation Tree, View Derived Products, Edit Product Settings Page, and Derive from Product. All four require you to be on one of IMVU's product's page. If you should be on any other page, the first three will either give you an error or point you to one of the various pages of IMVU. The fourth, Derive from Product, (in addition to being on a produt's page, requires the IMVU Previewer to be installd on your comptuer) will activate the IMVU Previewer--assuming it has been installed on your computer. If the Previewer is not installed, you will get an error from Firefox.

Finally, the All Languages menu-item, under the People menu-button, requires that you be on one of IMVU's Group pages. All Languages removes the "amp;" portion of a unicode text that was saved on IMVU (something like this: ブ). Once the "amp;" portion is removed, the browser is then able to interpret ブ (ブ) into a meaningful unicode character. This feature must be activated each time you change a Groups page withing your the browser.
